Within the UK, the Thermal Services business is the undisputed market leader in the service market*. The business employs up to 2000 people during the peak outage season and has almost tripled in size since 2001, with an annual turnover or more than 300M.

Within our Gas Turbine Operations and Maintenance (O&M) business we have vacancy for a Customer Service Manager to manage a portfolio of 2 to 3 O&M/Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) contracts.

The role will involve:

Managing a portfolio of projects, maximising contract performance, managing risks and ensuring long term results whilst maintaining high level of Customer Satisfaction.

Developing & maintaining key relationships, as well as being the single point of contact with the Customer,

Responsible for invoicing, ensuring budgets are maintained, managing and negotiating claims

Maximising additional service sales outside of the O&M contractual scope

Ensuring high standards of EH&S, Quality, Time & Cost requirements of outages are achieved.

Managing the supply of new and reconditioned parts according to contract, including managing all offers, quotations, internal/external orders and order confirmations, applying Unified Cost Calculator (UCC) and financial approvals according to company directives..

Qualifications


Candidates should be qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline; have experience of Project Management with strong Commercial awareness and basic legal knowledge; have experience within Field Service on GT/CC (Commissioning, Erection, Site Management); experience of managing budgets; have thorough understanding of HSE issues; demonstrable customer relationship building skills; and be computer literate. The role will involve UK and occasional overseas travel.
