Engineering Systems Engineer

Job Description:
Responsible for the maintenance of all Engineering Systems used within our clients Glasgow facility.
Engineering Systems covers but is not limited to 2D & 3D CAD, FEA and CFD analysis, PDM & Engineering based Document Management Systems and bespoke Technical Applications.
Preparation of documentation for CAD and PDM system procedures and company standards.
Preparation and presentation of training material in Engineering systems usage.
Liaise as required with Suppliers and Engineers.
Point of contact for Engineering System issues or problems arising with responsibility for timely resolution of said issues
Requirements / Responsibilities:
Experience in administration of 2D & 3D CAD systems. SolidWorks preferred.
Experience in the configuration and maintenance of PDM solutions. SolidWorks Enterprise PDM preferred.
Ability to interpret and write code, Visual Basic 6, VB.Net preferred.
Practical knowledge of SAP DMS.
Detailed Knowledge of products & processing requirements.
Problem solving skills.
Team focus with ability to work independently; self motivated.
