SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER
LOCATION: STOCKTON-ON-TEES
SALARY: NEGOTIABLE
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
To produce drawings of good quality and accuracy
To develop drawing design content
To work the company standards and procedures to meet project needs
To maintain records and provide reports as instructed by the Section Leader
To comply with Company Policy with regard to safety and environment
The term 'design' is used in its broadest sense and covers design calculations, specifications, equipment selection, contract documentation and requistion enquiry/ bid review/ purchase order for subcontracted construction and fabrication work, and approval of subcontractors and suppliers doccumentation
Person Specification
ONC or HNC qualified or equivalent in the appropriate Engineering Discipline
In depth competence in plant layout and modelling in 3D (PDMS preferred)
Proven ability in supervising DO teams to meet project objectives
