In order to maintain its market position and the quality level of its service Intec (UK) Ltd has become members of various organisations and trade associations. These associations are experts in their fields and Intec (UK) Ltd draws upon there expertise to ensure that we operate using the most up to date information and developments in our field of operations. We also utilise these memberships to assist us with promoting Health and Safety issues through out the group. Intec (UK) Ltd actively participates in the groups and attends the conferences & symposia, utilises training programmes, and disseminates papers and reports to staff.

ECIA
The Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA) is the principal trade and employer Association for the UK engineering construction industry. Their 300 members include many of the largest companies in the world that carry out engineering projects across the globe. Others are much smaller British contractors employing skilled craftspeople on sites all over the UK. Onshore, their members employ around fifty to sixty thousand personnel including plant designers, planners, project engineers and managers as well as site workpeople.
The ECIA provides its members with a collective voice to represent their interests on all matters affecting the industry. It is supported by a statutory Industry Training Board and, in partnership with two other employers' associations and two trade unions (Unite and TGWU), it operates the National Agreement through the industry's National Joint Council. |
